Whittlesford & Duxford Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

In May, our Wildwood Beavers (Wed, 6-8yrs) had a visitor from Fab Science who set up lots of interactive (and explosive!) experiments. Forest Beavers (Fri, 6-8yrs) made bunting for the coronation and made chocolate bananas for campfire. Sirius and Javelins Cubs (Mon, Thur, 8-101/2yrs) joined up for their camping trip in Norfolk. They had such a lot of fun building rafts, kayaking and abseiling. Arrow Scouts (Tues, 101/2-14yrs) also held their camping trip; they did kayaking, high ropes and mountain biking. Hitchhiker Explorers (Fri, 14-18yrs) learned some hockey skills (from one of our Explorers) and played hockey games. They also did a mystery hike, which they planned for each other.

Our Explorers are looking for more members. If you know anyone who would like to joi (Fri, 14-18yrs), please get in touch. They do not have to have been in Scouts before.

Thank you so much to our ongoing volunteers and new recruits. We would not be able to run without our amazing helpers. Our current gaps are for Explorers (Fri, 7.30-9.30pm). If you would like to help as an assistant, young leader or share a skill, get in touch.
