Whittlesford Warriors Football Club

Warriors were formed in 1996 to provide the opportunity for boys and girls of all ages and ability to play football in a friendly and safe environment. from that first team the club has now grown to eight teams with players from 5 to 16 years of age. This growth now sees around 120 children from Whittlesford, Duxford and surrounding villages playing sport on a weekly basis.

Warriors are rightly proud of the investment that they make into each and every player’s training and welfare. Each team is managed and coached by Level 1 qualified coaches all with First Aid training and all those that have access to the players are fully CRB checked to give that extra assurance to parents. The measures put in place to assure the quality and safety led to the club being awarded Charter Standard Status and is now working towards Charter Standard Development Club Status by working with local schools and organisations to show the benefit of playing sport with friends.
